Summer Photo Submission

The Shadow Creek Ranch MUDs invite you to share your awesome community photos from the Shadow Creek Ranch area for a chance to have your photo featured on the website.

Having a wonderful time out riding your bikes around the lakes or feeding the ducks? Send us your photo of our beautiful community! Did you capture a beautiful sunset over an area lake?  Did you see the fog floating eerily over the sports field in the quiet morning sunshine?  Do you have a passion for photography and take pride in your beautifully edited landscape shots?  We’d love to see it.

To participate, email your photo and the Photography Consent Form found below to photos@shadowcreekranchmuds.com. Submitted photos will be selected at the next board meeting, so don’t wait to get your photo submitted.

By submitting your photo you agree to allow the Shadow Creek Ranch MUDs to post your photo on our website ShadowCreekRanchMUDS.com.

BC MUD 26: Tax Exemptions

Once again, the Board votes in favor of tax exemptions. The District exempts from ad valorem taxation, $40,000 of the appraised value of residence homesteads of individuals who are disabled or are sixty-five years of age or older. No person may claim both exemptions, but a person qualifying for both may choose the exemption that he or she wishes to have applied to his or her property.

The District exempts from ad valorem taxation 20% of the appraised value (but not less than $5,000) of the residence homesteads of married or unmarried adults, including one living alone. Visit the Brazoria County Appraisal Districts site for exemption forms and other information.
